Gokusen 2 (Cont.)~
So yeah, I was kind of busy yesterday, so I didn't get a post in about Gokusen 2, but I promise I'll post today. So here it is! =D So...Gokusen 2 is a drama starring Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin. ^^ That's actually the main reason I started watching it, but then I found it to be very touching and funny at the same time. I LURVE Teppei (Take) in this drama, too, but I still like Hayato and Ryu. >w<

=============SPOILERS AHEAD!=============

Gokusen 2 is a (sequel to Gokusen) drama about a girl, Yamaguchi Kumiko (Nakama Yukie), who has always dreamed to become a teacher, but she is the next in line to inherit the "Ojou" title and become the boss of her family's Yakuza group (Japanese mafia). In order to become a teacher, she must keep her family history a secret. Fortunately, her family approves of her choice, though the members other than her grandfather still call her Ojou.

She finally gets a job at a school, Kurogin, which is rumored to have bright students. But little does she know (in the beginning), she gets assigned to class 3-D, or a delinquent class that makes her previous class (in Gokusen 1) look like angels. The school, Kurogin, is trying to reform itself and get rid of all the bad students, and this class 3-D is the last of them and they're graduating in March, thus, she's only a temporary teacher.

The first episode is about how she meets the students, main ones being Yabuki Hayato (Akanishi Jin) and Takeda Keita (Koike Teppei). Hayato is the 'leader' of the class, is a talented fighter, and has a cool, arrogant attitude. Yamaguchi, or Yankumi, is curious about a member of the class, Odagiri Ryu (Kamenashi Kazuya), who never shows up for class. It turns out that Odagiri got in a fight with Hayato, his best friend, earlier that year. This was because their gang and Ara High School's gang were about to have a duel, but before the duel, Ryu went out by himself and apologized to the leader of Ara High's gang. This angered Hayato, and after their fight, Ryu didn't come to school. Ryu's father is very wealthy, so he negotiated with the superintendent of the school that Ryu could get a diploma and graduate without coming to school, and the superintendent agreed.

Ryu is now working in a bar (? I didn't quite get where he was working) and he is doing illegal jobs in his time away from school. Yankumi finds this out and goes to search for Ryu. Yankumi is able to find him, and Ryu tells her that he owes the manager 300,000 yen, and if he gets it, then Ryu can quit. So Yankumi goes and works her butt off for 300,000 yen for Ryu, only to find out that he lied to her.

One of Yankumi's previous students then talks to Ryu, telling him that she worked hard many nights as a construction worker to get that money, and Ryu, though not showing it, feels bad. He returns the money to Yankumi and quits the job. However, the managers and people that he works with don't let him quit without a good beating. Yankumi comes to the rescue, and is able to, with her martial arts skills, beat up the people that were beating up Ryu.

Finally, Yankumi is able to get Ryu to come to school once again. In the beginning, Hayato is still angry with Ryu, and the only one in the class who will talk to Ryu, besides Yankumi, is Takeda. Ryu is normally quiet and calm about many things, and he doesn't get excited easily. Also, he is pretty clever in figuring out things before the other classmates and he is also perceptive and insightful. In the second episode, then Hayato has another encounter with the Ara High School students after getting lectured by Yankumi, wanting to stop the fighting. He goes to them alone and informs them. Of course, they don't take him seriously, but Hayato believes that he can take on all of them. They begin to fight him, and of course, Hayato is outnumbered. Ryu comes and helps Hayato, surprising him. They are both getting beaten, but then Yankumi (once again) is able to come and scare the Ara High students away with her combat skills.

Hayato apologizes to Ryu, much to the delight of the other students and Yankumi, and they are once again best friends, maybe even closer than they were before.

Now enter a world of delinquent students who think the world is against them, gang fights, and a violent community. The next episode focus on a different main character for the most part every episode, and all of them are very touching, yet they have funny moments, of course. More characters are introduced, and there is even a slight love story in this.

Eventually, class 3-D graduates along with the rest of the students in a touching ending, where the whole class is willing to give up their diplomas and graduations for Yankumi to keep her job. However, right before they are about to all boycott the graduation, Yankumi comes and lectures them, and they all decide to show up at the graduation after all. They all graduate, former teacher Yankumi (lost her job because the students get in a fight with a former enemy, and the fight gets in the news. The enemy actually escaped from jail, and Hayato and the others helped catch him, but that goes unnoticed by the superintendent, who only sees the part about the fight being in the news. He doesn't want his school to have a bad reputation, so the students are expelled a day before the graduation. Yankumi gives up her job instead, insisting that the students are to graduate) gives an impressively touching speech, and they all say goodbye to each other. The end. ^_^

Hayato + Ryu (respectively):

Anyway, I definitely recommend Gokusen 2, and it's even okay if you haven't seen Gokusen 1 (because I haven't -shot'd-). And...yeah. I laughed and cried in every episode, and it's definitely something to see, especially if you like AKame (or just Jin and Kame at all...they do a great job in the drama).

ZOMG THAT WAS LONG. I didn't intend for it to be so long. xDDDD;;
